Covid-19 Patient Instructions
- Have you been in close contact with a confirmed or suspected Covid-19 case in the last 14 days? If so, do not attend- call us immediately.
- Are you feeling unwell, or do you have a fever? If so, do not attend-call us immediately.
- If you are pregnant or have an underlying medical condition please inform us before you attend.
- Wash your hands thoroughly at home before attending. Also visit the toilet at home.
- Please wait in your car, and call us when you arrive to check in. Do not touch any surfaces, e.g. door handles, the reception desk etc. on attending the clinic.
- Please wear a mask or face covering when attending the clinic.
- When you arrive our door will be locked. You will be greeted at the door and your temperature taken with a non-contact thermometer. If you have a fever you will need to be re-booked.
- Only bring yourself, and your child (if they have an appointment), no additional children please, if possible. If a second person (parent/carer/child) is attending do they have a cough of fever? If so, please do not attend and call us from home for advice.
- Sanitise your hands or gloves immediately on entering our reception area.
- Bring your own glasses or sunglasses instead of using our protective eyewear.
- Do not bring coats or jackets where possible. If you do please keep them on you.
- Keep keys and phone, wallets etc. on your person during your appointment. Do not place them on worksurfaces.
- Bring a contactless method of payment (e.g. card, Apple/Android Pay) if possible.
- We are a friendly bunch but please do not delay in the surgery or at reception chatting with our staff in order for us to maintain social distancing.
- Be patient with us. We are working hard to protect staff and patients which may slow us down.
